Toy Fair 2020: “This is a huge year for Hunter Price and Orb Toys, and it all stars with London Toy Fair”

Hunter Price International is kicking off 2020 with its debut appearance at the London Toy Fair.

Having recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, the consumer products business has earmarked the next 12 months as a ‘huge step change,’ as it looks to continue to grow its successful toys, stationery, homewares, bags for life, seasonal, and licensed products ranges.

For its inaugural London Toy Fair show, Hunter Price is teaming up with one of the fastest growing toy and activities companies at the moment in Orb Toys.

As the UK’s leading distributor for Orb Toys, Hunter Price has detailed its own ambitious plans for the brand, which include expanding retailer networks and elevating marketing plans around Orb’s new product developments.

A host of new products will be showcased for the first time at the fair, including the much anticipated Orb Arcade, Orb Sprouti Palz for budding green thumbs, and new additions to the line, Orb Odditeez.

The unique collections will be unveiled in various new formats and variations which will be exclusively distributed by Hunter Price in the UK.

Orb Arcade is the fusion of three current toy trends which are set to build well into the next year and beyond, combining collectability, unboxing, and Gachapon, the Japanese capsule toy trend.

Meanwhile, Orb Odditeez is a collection of tactile toys ranging from cute to creepy-crawly. As part of the new launch, the new collectable lines, Orb Sprouti Palz, Orb Sqweezy Petz, and – new to Orb Odditeez – Elast-A-Beastz, will each make their debut show appearance.

Sprouti Palz are fun loving characters which sprout hair which children can soak, grow, trim and style, Sqweezy Petz are Orb’s squishiest toy yet, while Elast-A-Beastz have super stretchy bodies, rubbery skin, and wild designs.

Jeremy Winburn, commercial director at Hunter Price International, said: “We are going into a huge year for both Hunter Price and Orb Toys, and it all starts with the London Toy Fair. We certainly share the same excitement, vision and values, and truly believe in the brand’s growth potential.

“We make a great team, we’re both innovators, agile and incredibly ambitious. With game-changing new brands like Orb Arcade, Orb Odditeez, and Orb Sprouti Palz, they’re all set to be trend setting products within the industry when it comes to unique creative play.

“We’re really looking forward bringing Orb Toys to life at the show and can’t wait for people to see for themselves the new collections we have to offer.”

Steve Kay, CEO, Orb Toys, added: “As a business we’ve been in the UK for over 25 years. We’ve got a great partnership with Hunter Price and the London Toy Fair is the perfect way to set out our stall for an incredibly exciting period as we continue to expand our brand presence.

“Innovation is at the heart of our business and we’re really looking forward to unveiling the likes of ORB Arcade™ to the UK market.”

Hunter Price International will be on stand G23 at the London Toy Fair.
