The leading global toy company, Moose Toys is heading to London Toy Fair for the first time, where it will launch a new range of collectable toys inspired by the online social language of gifs.
Oh! My Gif brings the hilarious world of digital gifs to life through a range of collectable characters, packed full of funny, surprise movements. The characters, known as GifBits, physically replicate the looping movement of – and are inspired by – some of the most popular gifs on the web.
Each GifBit will be revealed once opened from its packaging. This packaging then converts into a photographic backdrop, becoming an extension of the play pattern.
Each Oh! My Gif pack contains an augmented reality card which kids can scan using the exclusive Oh! My Gif mobile app – unlocking a digital version of their GifBit! Along with the physical versions, these can then be collected and shared with friends and family.
With over 50 characters in both physical and digital form, Oh! My Gif is designed to be a collectable range for kids.
The range is a continuation of Moose Toys’ speciality of pioneering in the collectables space, having kick-started the scene back to life with the $5bn smash hit property, Shopkins.

As well as a major investment in a complete 360-degree marketing campaign, Moose has created a unique, theatrical FSDU for retailers. It features a ‘try me’ function for customers to experience the looping movements first-hand, whilst offering a free AR scan on the front of the unit to unlock an exclusive character to download.
Oh! My Gif will be unveiled for the first time at London Toy Fair this week on Moose stand 210. Aimed at kids aged six to ten, GifBits have an RRP of £4.99 and hit UK shelves in May 2020.
