Scottish independent Toy Hub to close after ten years in toys

The Dunblane-based independent toy shop, Toy Hub has announced its intentions to shutter its doors, following a ten-year “rollercoaster run of fun and frivolity.

The family run business – owned by the husband and wife team Gerard and Helen Gourley – made the announcement via the shop’s Facebook page earlier this week, telling its followers and customers that “all good things must come to an end.”

In a statement issued on social media, the Toy Hub UK team, said: “The Toy Hub family would like to thank each and every one of you who have supported our venture. We’d love to invite you to share your memories with us as we leave Dunblane High Street.”

The official closing day for Toy Hub’s business will be Saturday, December 14th. The pair has invited local clientele to join them for a farewell party.
