Asmodee’s publishing imprint Aconyte Books details first slate of novels

Board game giant Asmodee’s newly acquired publishing imprint, Aconyte Books, has detailed the first wave of novel releases based on and inspired by some of the tabletop titan’s biggest gaming titles.

Ready for release in May 2020, the line-up includes some of Asmodee’s richest and most imaginative worlds, such as Arkham Horror, Legend of the Five Rings, and Descent: Journeys in the Dark.

Newer worlds being explored in fiction for the first time include global smash hit Pandemic and the innovative KeyForge.

Aconyte has promised to pile up more details of each title across the next few weeks. The full launch slate will see Arkham Horror: Wrath of N’Kai by Josh Reynolds, and Legend of the Five Rings: Curse of Honor by David Annandale land at retail in May 2020.

June next year will see the release of Pandemic: Patient Zero by Amanda Bridgeman, and Key Forge: Tales from the Crucible edited by Charlotte Llewelyn-Wells, while in July Descent – Journeys in the Dark: The Doom of Fallowhearth will arrive courtesy of author Robbie MacNiven.

By August 2020, the publishing slate will welcome Arkham Horror: The Last Ritual by S A Sidor, and Legend of the Five Rings: Poison River by Josh Reynolds.

More announcements from Aconyte Books will arrive in the coming weeks and months.
