I Love Fancy Dress taps ’90s nostalgia with Cartoon Network licensed costumes

The UK dress-up company, I Love Fancy Dress is tapping into the trend for ’90s nostalgia with the launched of a new range of licensed costumes and accessory kits based on Cartoon Network’s iconic The Powerpuff Girls and Johnny Bravo.

With over 3,000 product lines and 10 years of success I Love Fancy Dress has compounded its growth within the dress-up sector with the addition of a now-expanding licensed character portfolio.

The range includes two of Cartoon Network’s most popular properties in The Powerpuff Girls and Johnny Bravo. The Powerpuff Girls costumes come complete with dress, wig, glasses and tights. There are also wig and glasses sets to buy separately.

Likewise Johnny Bravo comes as a full costume set including trousers, top, wig and glasses as well as the wig and glasses sets available to buy separately.

“The original ambassadors of girl power, The Powerpuff Girls continue to lead from the front and inspire young women with their unique brand of fearlessness, determination and positivity,” said Cartoon Network’s Leila Loumi.

Product manager, Carmen Nesnas, added: “As the kids of the 1990s are getting older we have noticed a rising demand for 1990s costumes. The 1990s is the new retro decade for parties and we could not be happier to present two wonderful licenses to the market.”

The range is officially available to trade customers from 26th November 2019.
