The Creative Retail Awards return with major trade association backing

At a time when in-store experiences count for just as much as the product stocked, the Creative Retail Awards 2020 are now open for entries, having secured backing from three major trade associations.

The Shop & Display Equipment Association, the National Association of Shopfitters and Interior Contractors, and the British Display Society have each thrown their weight behind the returning awards event, signalling the importance on delivering with creativity in the retail space today.

The awards have been created to recognise projects and products that have demonstrated the highest level of innovation and excellence within retail. The 2020 awards will introduce new categories including Omni-Channel Experience, Best Shopfitting/Fit-Out, and Bar and Restaurant Design.

There is also a new category specifically for retailers to vote for their favourite suppliers – the Supplier of the Year Award.

“Now is the time to promote your company and be recognised for your hard work to a worldwide audience,” read a statement from the awards organiser.Winning an Award puts you centre stage with the world’s most visionary and influential retailers and designers, including Chanel, Vodafone, Topshop, Joseph and Pandora amongst others.”

To celebrate the launch and the backing of the Trade Associations, an early bird entry fee for suppliers of just £75 (+VAT) is available for entries made before the end of December. It is free for retailers and hospitality and leisure operators to enter in to the Awards.
