Ideal Games and Board Game Club hold ‘bank heist’ to launch new family game Bank Attack

It was against the backdrop of Escape Entertainment London’s crown jewel bank-heist escape room that last night (Wednesday, October 16) Ideal Games, alongside Board Game Club, launched its new – and indeed intense – co-op family game, Bank Attack.

Suitably challenged to not only experience the Bank Attack gameplay first hand, carrying out the game’s series of commands in order to crack the vault and escape with the loot inside, teams of retailers, games’ fans and media were invited to take part in the venue’s bank heist escape room.

Participating ‘gangs’ took part in gripping challenges to find hidden clues and solve puzzles in order to break into the vault and steal the crown jewels.

Lynette Norris, marketing manager at John Adams Leisure, said: “Celebrating the launch of Bank Attack in this way provided us with the perfect way of demonstrating the suspense and intense thrill the game generates. It was a huge success and incredibly rewarding to see Bank Attack entertaining an influential audience as part of a creative and immersive collaboration.

“The family game has already received a fantastic level of support and feedback from retailers, consumers and media combined – being listed as one of Amazon’s top toys for Christmas is a very positive sign and we’re sure Bank Attack is the only bank families will be breaking this Christmas.”

Bank Attack is the fast-moving, vault-raiding, cooperative game for the family that’s already topped Christmas wishlists this year.

To crack the vault, players pick a role in the group – be that Hacker, Money Man, Look Out, or Explosives Expert, and work together as a team to release the gold hidden inside.

Bank Attack carries a retail price of £24.99 and is for two to four players aged seven and upwards.
