Former LEGO man Craig Mair joins the Funrise UK team

Toy industry veteran, Craig Mair has joined the Funrise UK team, taking up the role of national account manager for UK and Ireland.

Mair will use his 20 years’ experience to fulfil the role, having gained a wealth of industry contacts through his 17 year stint at LEGO at which he was national account director. He joins the growing UK team in its new offices in Milton Keynes.

“We are delighted to welcome Craig to the Funrise team, his wealth of experience is just what the company needs to develop the UK side of the business, and will be the next step in taking both our licensed and internally developed brands to the next level in the retail space,”” said James Dixon, UK commercial director.

Mair added: “When learning about Funrise and the position, I was extremely intrigued by the company’s vertical integration from the manufacturing level of their owned factories to the in-house design, development and engineering functions.

“I’m excited to be part of a team that is on the forefront of growth in this market and look forward to elevating their strong portfolio of brands across even more areas of distribution.”

Funrise’s current portfolio consists of its own brands including Gazillion, Herodrive, Fart Ninjas, and Rainbow Butterfly Unicorns.
