Electro pop band Metronomy taps Gibsons for official tour merchandise puzzle

The UK’s independent games and puzzles specialist, Gibsons, has teamed with the electro pop band Metronomy to supply the group with a bespoke jigsaw puzzle as part of its merchandise offering for its upcoming tour.

The band approached Gibsons’ national account manager Kim Garrod while planning its tour in summer this year, and has since, according to Gibsons, worked closely with the team to create the exclusive 1000 piece puzzle.

“Metronomy love jigsaws and in particular Gibsons jigsaws. With much excitement and the feeling that puzzles were well and truly ‘trending’ we were delighted to marry our puzzling world with Metronomy’s music and create a limited edition 1000pc exclusively for their upcoming tour,” said Gibsons’ marketing manager, Samantha Goodburn.

“Made in the UK and using the thickest 100 per cent recycled board available, we have been thrilled by the response and hope fans enjoy piecing it together.”

The 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle features the band’s latest album Metronomy Forever artwork, which has been illustrated by French illustrator and graphic designer Anne Zeum.  

The puzzle, Metronomy Forever, can be purchased by those attending their tour which ends in spring 2020. Like all Gibsons 1000 piece puzzles, the jigsaw puzzle pieces in Metronomy, Forever are the thickest on the market and are made from 100 per cent recycled board to ensure they can be used again and again.
