Kano and Disney partner on the Disney Frozen 2 Coding Kit

Kano and Disney have partnered for the launch of the new Disney Frozen 2 Coding Kit, a build-it-yourself coding experience that allows kids to take on the magical role of Elsa via its motion sensor and creative coding experience.

Launched today, kids can simply pop open the box and follow the step-by-step storybook to learn about the board, button, and bits that make up the motion sensor, before connecting it to a compatible device, and bringing it to life with a wave of their hand.

From here, kids can then take on step-by-step coding challenges and discover new powers. Connect code blocks, see the Javascript behind them, learn about loops, logic, and variables. They can then make snowflakes, control blizzards, and conjure their own ice palace with a wave of your hand.

The coding kit features familiar faces from the popular Frozen franchise, including Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. Creations can also be shared with the Disney Frozen Kano World community.

Each kit comes with a step-by-step storybook,  exclusive Kano Disney Frozen 2 Stickers, a printed Circuit Board (PCB) which contains sensors and LEDs, a case (light plate, top + bottom case, power button), and 2 x batteries (AA)

The Disney Frozen 2 Coding Kit is available now and priced at £79.99.
