Disney and Kano form alliance for Star Wars The Force Coding Kit

Disney has joined forces with the tech toy specialists Kano for the launch of the official Star Wars The Force Coding Kit.

Encouraging kids to tackle the STEM subjects and embark on their first journey into coding, Kano’s Star Wars The Force Coding Kit has users learning the way of The Force with a build-it-yourself Bluetooth connected coding system.

“Code endless Star Wars adventures and bring to life a galaxy of characters, creatures, starships, and sounds with a wave of your hand,” reads the product’s press release.

The coding kit comes with a step-by-step storybook, an array of exclusive Kano Star Wars stickers, a printed circuit board with sensors and LED lights, a case, and interchangeable icons, including the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire.

The kit comes with a free to download Star Wars The Force Coding Kit app and is available from October 4th this year.
