KidsKnowBest has hired a new chief product officer in the shape of Mahesh Ramachandra, as the children’s marketing service continues its expansion plans this year.
The move follows the recent appointments of former Dubit director Peter Robinson as chief operating officer and James Kirkwood – previously lead product designer at Beano Studios – as KidsKnowBest’s creative director.
A digital product leader with 20 years’ industry experience, Ramachandra specialises in the creation of cross-platform entertainment and edtech services. He brings seniority, passion and an international perspective of digital product development to the KidsKnowBest team.
Prior to joining KidsKnowBest, Ramachandra served as chief product officer at the children’s learning platform Azoomee and was previously head of product at award-winning pre-school SVOD pioneers Hopster. His career has spanned interactive television, OTT and mobile applications across Europe, China, India and SE Asia.
Earlier this summer KidsKnowBest announced its line-up of investors, including Amy McPherson (European President, Marriott International), Hani Farsi (Chairman & Executive Producer, The Corniche Group) and Sarah Wiggins (Partner, LinkLaters).
