It would appear that Hasbro is stepping up its efforts in India, having appointed a local licensing agent in Black White Orange Brands to head up its consumer products programme.
Under the partnership, Hasbro and Black White Orange will work together to build awareness and product roll out for the company’s brands, including Nerf, My Little Pony, Play-Doh, and Monopoly.
The Indian licensing agency’s initial focus will be on apparel, accessories, back to school, promotional licensing, sporting goods, and publishing. It is also planning a major push for the brands through the festive and back to school seasons.
