Vivid details launch campaign for innovative Nestlings ‘birth-day’ next month

After what Vivid has called a ‘long gestation period’ in its wait to launch its innovative new Nestlings line, the toy maker has finally detailed its plans for the big event next month.

To mark the toy line’s ‘birth-day,’ this September, Vivid will release curated YouTube content developed in partnership with the online stars, Ruby and Bonnie, offering fans a first glimpse of the new Nestlings.

The firm will then host a meet and greet with the YouTube duo at a Smyths store, along with a VIP list of bloggers. The content itself will be supported by Blipverts on TV to tease the Nestlings arrival ahead of a full TV launch later that month.

Darrell Jones, head of marketing at Vivid, said: “We are also delighted to be working with The Entertainer Squad to endorse the brand launch and this along with a strong PR programme will help put Nestlings on the top of the Christmas lists.”

Nestlings are cute friends that you must care for, play games and interact with. Depending on how your Nestling is feeling her eyes will glow multiple colours to show her mood. After several minutes of interaction her heart will glow telling you it’s time to return back to the nest.

After this, an egg will appear. Kids can open this to reveal their Nestling’s first baby. More interactions will result in arrival of a second baby. Once played with, each Nestling can be reset, allowing children to play with it again.

Nestlings are shipping in September and available in two colours with an SRP of £49.99.
