Playmobil commits to retailer support with Crumtons Toy Shop banner campaign

Playmobil has demonstrated further commitment to its 2019 advertising campaign to support retailers, this time with the sponsorship of three large banners displayed outside Crumtons Toy Shop in Bangor.

The Northern Irish toy retailer will showcase the banners, each focusing on Playmobil: The Movie, ahead of the title’s cinematic release this August 9.

Alongside the movie, Playmobil has launched nine new play-sets based on the film, including the Rex Dasher with Parachute, the Robotitron with Drone, Marla with Horse, Charlie with Prison Wagon, Marla and Del with Flying Horse, Del’s Food Truck, Emperor Maximus in the Colosseum, Marla in the Fairytale Castle, and Rex Dasher’s Porsche Mission E.

Mark McGilton, store owner at Crumtons, said: “As a huge Playmobil fan, it is a pleasure to feature the toy brand outside the store. Working with the team has been a great experience and we look forward to doing more together in the future. Thanks to Playmobil, Bangor now has a lot more happy colour in our lovely town.”

Jamie Dickinson, marketing and display manager at Playmobil UK, added “At Playmobil, supporting retailers through our advertising programme is a priority. The banners at Crumtons reaffirm our position as a leading entertainment brand as well as drums up energy during an exciting time, with Playmobil: The Movie launching in August.”
