Skyrocket Toys UK celebrates blooming success for new collectable doll line

YouTube stars Ruby and Bonnie wowed young fans last weekend as Skyrocket Toys UK, celebrated the hotly anticipated retail launch of its new collectable doll line, Blume, with a nationwide event across all 168 branches of The Entertainer on Saturday, July 27th.

The pair descended upon The Entertainer’s Kingston store, located in the Bentall Centre, to showcase the unexpected doll opening experience.

According to Skyrocket Toys UK, ‘children couldn’t believe their eyes as they watched the dolls ‘blumed’ from their pots and queued up to get hands on with Ruby and Bonnie to unveil their own Blume doll purchases.’

Demo’ teams across all stores, supported by a host of thrilled influencers, YouTubers and bloggers, simultaneously ‘unblumed’ the first 22 unique dolls featuring their revolutionary patent-pending reveal technology to amazed shoppers and online audiences.

“Blume dolls are anticipated to be this year’s hottest collectable toy line, having already made it to retailers’ top toy lists for Christmas,” said Lindsey Scheftic, vice president of marketing at Skyrocket.

“We’re thrilled to see the initial reactions to the product at The Entertainer, with so many consumers taking to social media to show off their sheer delight at our unique reveal technology.

“Product has really only just started hitting retail shelves in the UK and sell-through numbers are already off the charts. Early forecasts are showing a red-hot start for Blume.”

Blume is a range of dolls that bloom right out of their flowerpots with just a sprinkling of water, quickly outgrowing their pots. Each has ten surprises to uncover, including a cool hairstyle, fashionable outfit and accessories, a cute mini friend and sticker book.

22 blind-packed dolls are in the first collection and range from “adorable to “rare” and “super rare”, with one “ultra-rare” doll to find. All pieces are part of the play with no unnecessary extra trash generated from the fun – all for an SRP of £10.00.
