The stable door has been opened and now there’s just no slowing Schleich down, it would seem, as the company’s US outfit continues to propel its Horse Club into the modern era with the launch of the brand’s first app, Horse Club Adventure.
It’s part of the latest wave of updates from the firm that so far has seen the launch of new play-sets, figurines, and major sponsorship campaigns here in the UK. The app launch is being supplemented in the US by a new membership club, in-store activation campaigns, and the promise of more to come.
“We’re so excited about all the new Horse Club introductions and activities rolling out this fall,” said Annie Laurie Zomermaand, Schleich USA’s chief commercial officer. “We’re delighted to provide Horse Club enthusiasts across the country with even more great ways to engage with the rich and vibrant Horse Club characters, friendships and breeds for hours of fun and learning, across multiple platforms.”
Thanks to its new launches, Horse Club fans can find themselves immersed in the brand’s universe. Th Horse Club Adventure app not only allows girls to create their own rider and horses, as well as choose a riding outfit, care for, and train their horses for competitions, it also lets them take part in digital adventures, complete tasks, collect valuable horseshoes, and expand their horse knowledge with quiz questions.
On top of this, it will work in tandem with the Horse Club. Fans can join the club by downloading the app, or by purchasing Horse Club products online or in-store. Select retailers will feature special posters and membership cards with QR codes, as well as colouring pages and activities.
