LEGO taps into wellness market with new book LEGO Build Yourself Happy

LEGO has spotted opportunity within the current wellness trend as it prepares to launch a new book, LEGO Build Yourself Happy: The Joy of LEGO Play with DK Books.

The book will take readers on a journey of self-discovery by exploring the ‘calming benefits’ of the LEGO hobby. The book will hit shelves this October.

‘Playing with LEGO elements brings a sense of fun as well as calmness to everyday life,’ reads the book’s official synopsis.

‘LEGO Build Yourself Happy includes more than 20 LEGO building activities and ideas, such as builds that help you find balance, connect with friends and family and help you chill out before bed to get a better night’s sleep.

‘Best of all, you don’t need any LEGO skills to enjoy the calming benefits of playing with LEGO bricks.’

The book will also feature tips for creating your own LEGO happy space for building and how to ‘carry a bit of LEGO joy with you, no matter where you go.’

Presumably, there’s a chapter on processing the emotions felt when you tread on a LEGO brick, too.
