PAW Patrol hits the road for UK intu shopping centres tour this summer

The cast of Nickelodeon’s hit pre-school TV series, PAW Patrol will be hitting the road this summer and autumn with a UK tour designed to thrill fans and support retailers across the country.

Spin Master – producers of the show that continues to be one of Nick Jr’s top-rated pre-school series – has struck a partnership with intu shopping centres to bring the characters to life with a run of events across its sites this year.

Events held during July and August will encourage youngsters to ‘PUP PUP Boogie’ as well as have parents take their photos with their favourite characters. Venues and dates include:

intu Watford – July 29

intu Lakeside – August 1

intu Potteries, Stoke – August 8

intu Metrocentre Gateshead– August 9

intu Braehead, Glasgow – August 10

intu Eldon Square Newcastle – August 11

intu Merry Hill Birmingham– August 27

intu Derby – August 28

intu Victoria Centre Nottingham– August 29

Each of the venues is to be supported by a communications campaign targeting both traditional and social media outlets to help promote the events.

The tour will also help promote and encourage interest and entries for the PAW Patrol Little Heroes Awards which runs for the second year. The Awards will take place in London in October with a ceremony for the overall winners and their families, as well as supporters of the awards.

 Spin Master UK’s marketing manager, Charlotte Yates said: “We are very excited about running the second PAW Patrol Little Heroes events. We hope that through our roadshows, not only will we be entertaining the hundreds of thousands of PAW fans out there, but we’ll also have the chance to discover more of the UK’s most deserving young heroes to encourage them to enter our awards.”
