Geomag, Epoch and Kids@Play among brands joining Good Toy Zone’s summer tour of UK

Geomag, Epoch, Kids@Play, TOMY and Learning Resources will each be joining Fundamentally Children’s Good Toy Zone this summer, as it hits the road for a UK tour of family consumer events.

To kick off the summer of activity, the Good Toy Zone will be heading to three unique events – The 3Foot People Festival, The Great British Food Festival and CarFest South in a programme designed to boost the brand awareness and sales of Fundamentally Children’s clients through experiences.

Geomag will be showcasing its Confetti, Magicube and Mechanics ranges at each of the events. Each of the magnetic construction lines foster a wide range of skills in children, including understanding of STEM subjects, such as the science of magnets, and the mathematics of 3D shapes, as well as shape identification, problem solving and logical thinking.

Meanwhile, Sylvanian Families from Epoch will be a hit with festival goers young and old. Having been enjoyed by UK families for over 30 years, Sylvanian Families develops imaginative play and storytelling, and are ideal for developing fine motor skills and social skills.

TOMY will be bringing its Johnny Tractor range to life for little ones at the summer events. The range is produced under the John Deere license and helps pre-schoolers develop hand-eye coordination and imaginative play.

Kids@Play will be showcasing a selection of its ride-on toys. Great for gross motor skills and that all-important active play, the ride-ons will be a great addition to the open-air events.

Learning Resources will also be showcasing their iconic Playfoam range. The mess-free creative play resource will inevitably go down a storm, following previous success in the Good Toy Zone.

Amanda Gummer, founder and MD, Fundamentally Children, said: “We’re really excited to be showcasing such a strong range of Good Toys to families across our three festivals. It’s always great to watch children get involved with the brands in the Good Toy Zone, and these events provide an incredibly powerful marketing tool for all involved. We’re looking forward to a summer of Good Toys.”

Nikki Jeffery, Geomagworld marketing manager, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Fundamentally Children in the Good Toy Tents over the summer. The festival programme provides an invaluable opportunity to interact and share our products with our consumers in a fun and interactive environment.”

The 3Foot People Festival is targeted at pre-school children and their families. Based in Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, the event runs from July 2 to 4 and welcomes over 14,000 festival goers to the largest outdoor festival for little ones in the UK.

Next up, the Great British Food Festival in Knebworth House on July 20 and 21 will welcome around 7,500 visitors to the Hertfordshire site for the two day event, designed to entertain the whole family for a fun day out.

Finally, CarFest South is a new addition to the programme this year, attracting over 55,000 visitors. Running from August 23 to 25 in Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire, CarFest is the UK’s largest fundraising festival, having raised over £13.5 million for UK children’s charities to date.

There are limited spaces available for brands to get involved with the Good Toy Zone tour this summer. The firm is urging companies to get in touch to find out more.
