Character Options takes its brands to UK’s YouTubers with Character Kidz launch

Character Options is taking its brands directly to the UK’s wealth of up and coming YouTubers with the launch of its first Character Kidz Show, an event delivering a carnival of filming opportunities for those plugged in to the social media space.

Character Kidz will take place in central London on Saturday June 22 and will offer attendees the chance to film against backdrops and engage with unboxing experiences with staged areas such as a Treasure X Alien Autopsy Suite, a giant What’s in the Box Challenge Cube, Laser X Fusion Range and Blinger Style area. It will be spread across four floors to explore.

Jerry Healy, group marketing director, Character Options, said: “Online influencers are key to our marketing strategy and instead of a single brand launch event to invite them to, we decided to combine more than ten. Character Kidz promises to deliver one mass extravaganza of brands seen at their best.

“The day has been specifically set up for child influencers and their needs and the ‘minituber’ community has been really excited to attend. We are delighted to say our guest list is all but full

“This is however, just the start of a whole season of activity in this arena and the springboard from which we hope to achieve millions of YouTube and Instagram views. It also gives us the chance to meet the kids themselves and thank them for their hard work throughout the year.”

Little Live, Treasure X, Blinger, Pokémon, TapIt!, and What’s in the Box are all to have their own dedicated spaces along with other key brands that are yet to be revealed.
