BeyBattle Burst sees surging demand in MENA as fans ready for 2019 Asia Championship

BeyBattle Burst has reinforced its position as one of the most popular action collectable toys for boys in the Asian market, following a season of strong sales and the success of another BeyBattle Burst Asia Championship.

BetBattle Burst, the official trademark across MENA, is currently one of the region’s best trending toy lines, and is inspired by the hit animated series of the same name. According to the tournament’s UAE organisers, the toy line’s modern spinning top design has seen ‘huge demand from boys in the Arab region.

As this year’s BeyBattle Burst Asia Championship’s qualifying rounds close, preparations are now being made for the events grand finals, taking place on May 26 in Goyang, a satellite city of Seoul in South Korea. The championship gathers BeyBattle Burst fans in one place to compete against each other, show-off their talents and win the coveted title.

The animated series made its debut on the region’s leading kids’ channel, Spacetoon TV. The channel has the exclusive rights to broadcast the Arabic-dubbed version of the BeyBattle Burst animation. It has been credited for driving the success of the franchise in the territory.

The qualifying tournaments in UAE were sponsored by ToyPro, a marketing and product development house located in UAE, with Spacetoon TV and Pearl FM as the media partners. Early Learning Center was the event’s retail partner.

Commenting on the success of the competition, Eleazar Tonaco from Xceed the event organiser of the UAE tournament, said: “BeyBattle Burst enthusiasts showed up to the battleground fully-prepared, while doses of encouragement from their parents cheered them up and made them eager to win. My team and I are looking forward to the final championship, as we consider this to be an amazing experience.”

The BeyBattle Burst Asia Championship 2019 will gather all the qualified winners from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and UAE. They will all get into the competition, sharing a mutual goal, the championship title.
