Ravensburger is to launch a range of new puzzles themed on the iconic video game Tetris across the UK and Ireland this autumn, following a new licensing agreement with the popular Tetris brand.
It’s just part of a sweep of recent partner signings for the Tetris brand, marking its 35th anniversary this year. The puzzle manufacturer, Ravensburger, is joined in a portfolio of new licensees by the clothing company Blues Clothing, who will debut a collection of Tetris-branded nightwear this autumn.
The latest deals were struck by The Tetris Company’s UK licensing agency, Lisle Licensing and join a line-up of partners that now span publishing, apparel, games, gift, footwear and accessories.
“From the many fun, hugely-successful Tetris games on the market today to its recognition as a global lifestyle brand, Tetris is as popular now as it ever was among fans of all ages, which gives the brand massive licensing potential,” said Gayle Goldsmith, director at Lisle Licensing.
“We’re thrilled to announce Ravensburger and Blues Clothing as our newest partners for Tetris, and think their products will be a huge hit among consumers. Plus, there are more partnerships currently in discussion across a range of categories, which we’re really excited about.”
