Playmobil takes Best Stand award at Independent Toy and Gift Show

Among a hall of strong contenders, it was Playmobil that took home the coveted Best Stand award at last week’s popular Independent Toy and Gift Show, facing down competition from the likes of Juratoys, Tinc and Professor Puzzle.

The event, which took place on Monday, 29 and Tuesday, 30 April at the Cranmore Park, Solihull, saw the toy brand showcase its much-anticipated Playmobil: The Movie play-sets.

The award-winning stand saw life-size figures from the movie, such as Del, Marla and Rex surround the exclusive play-sets, Rex Dasher’s Porsche Mission E 70078, Del’s Food Truck 70075 and Marla and Del with Flying Horse 70074.

Playmobil also showcased its extensive range of existing play-sets, including Ghostbusters, Tiny Paws Pet Hotel, Summer Villa and the City Action SWAT range.

Jamie Dickinson, marketing manager at Playmobil, said: “As momentum grows for Playmobil: The Movie it has been amazing to see the play-sets come to life. Being awarded best stand illustrates how the play-sets and figures can create immersive experiences that leave a lasting impression.”
