The Entertainer builds Fundamentally Children partnership with Balancing Play Campaign

Building on its existing relationship with Fundamentally Children, The Entertainer is now supporting the company’s Balancing Play Campaign.

The multi-faceted campaign will launch in May 2019 and is designed to promote healthy play, provide expert advice for parents to make informed choices about play, and promote ‘Good Toys’ and the importance of play.

The activity will kick off with a consumer research study carried out by the expert team at Fundamentally Children with parents in the UK and US. The study will look at the barriers faced by parents and carers when trying to provide children with a balanced play diet. It aims to become a digital, print-ready parent resource with expert advice and solutions to the barriers identified in the research.

Offline, Fundamentally Children’s Good Toy Zone will be touring various family festivals this summer, showcasing a range of exciting products as part of the ‘Balanced Play Zone’.

The Entertainer will also be hosting a series of events in-store throughout the summer for children and parents to enjoy. With a team of Good Toy Guide experts providing play opportunities and information for customers, the events aim to boost awareness of the Balanced Play message.

Dr Amanda Gummer commented: “We are excited to be partnering with The Entertainer to promote the Balanced Play message. The extra marketing and activity arranged by the team will provide a huge support to all suppliers with Good Toys stocked in The Entertainer and we are thrilled to be able to work with The Entertainer to further support our clients and communicate the importance of play.”

Gary Grant added: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with Fundamentally Children on this exciting campaign. Play is a huge part of childhood learning and education, which is why we’re so passionate about ensuring our stores offer the perfect environment for children to browse the latest toys and have the opportunity to play.”
