The British jigsaw puzzle and games company Gibsons was out in force at this week’s Independent Toy & Gift Show where it commemorated 100 years of trading by taking headline sponsorship of the show.
The firm led the AIS-run show’s Jigsaws & Puzzles theme from the front, outfitting the show’s café area with Gibons’ centenary branding, as well as putting together a display of branded vinyls featuring some of tits best-selling jigsaw puzzles and games.
Visitors also got to see a sneaky first look at what will be on offer in July when Gibsons release its Q4 Christmas range, which includes a new Christmas countdown calendar.
The Independent Toy & Gift Show was the first opportunity to view Gibsons’ brand new spring puzzle designs, all of which were designed by British artists and made in the UK using 100 per cent recycled board. Amongst the new designs is Curious Kittens and Caravan Escapes.
Kim Garrod, national account manager at Gibsons, said: “It was great to work with Aimee, Faz and the team at this year’s Toy & Gift Show. Our branded café and stand looked fantastic and it was lovely to once again see many of our AIS friends and customers.
“We’re thrilled that jigsaws were the theme this year as puzzling is a great hobby for all ages. Based on rate of sale, we are the UK’s best performing manufacturer in adult puzzles and have the thickest 1000-piece jigsaw pieces, so to be able to celebrate this and our 100th anniversary made the show extra-special.”
Gibsons would like to thank everyone who has been a part of their story so far, from jigsaw puzzlers, to suppliers, retailers and warehouse partners and everyone in between.
In May they will be attending the Toymaster Show and welcome customers old and new to visit and view their brand-new Christmas products and join in with their centenary celebrations.
