LEGO, Spin Master among big names returning for Toy Fair 2020

Toy Fair 2020 is shaping up to be “another busy and vibrant show,” say organisers who have seen an 84 per cent re-booking rat just three months after this year’s show. It’s a marked increase on the rate of re-booking this time last year.

A successful sold-out Toy Fair 2019 saw the return of LEGO and PMS International Group who are both amongst Toy Fair 2020 returnees alongside Spin Master, Character Options, Flair Leisure Products, Learning Resources, Golden Bear, Great Gizmos plus more.

Toy Fair returns to Olympia, London, from 21st-23rd January 2020. Visitors and exhibitors can expect a full range of toy, game and hobby manufacturers and distributors representing start-ups, through to small, established family-run businesses and international mega brands.

Toy Fair 2020 will aim to provide a lively platform for the industry to promote new products to buyers, retailers, licensors and the media as well as networking amongst peers, forging new relationships and building on existing partnerships.

Rebecca Deeming, acting head of Toy Fair, said: “We are excited to see the return of so many exhibitors and the arrival of some fresh faces for Toy Fair 2020. The commitment from all of our exhibitors is what makes the Toy Fair a spectacular three-day event right at the heart of the industry’s buying calendar.

“It is a testament to the show’s popularity to see so many applications already coming in. This allows us to keep developing and expanding the Toy Fair to provide the industry with an effective space to buy, sell and network. We are extremely appreciative of the support the industry continues to provide the show and look forward to seeing you all again in January.”

Show attendees have come out to support the UK toy trade fair, among them is Sarah Dayus, sales and brand manager at Great Gizmos.

She said: “Toy Fair is our first exhibition of the year and a really important event for us. It is our first chance to showcase our brand-new products and ranges to our buyers. It is always a really busy show with new and existing buyers and the perfect opportunity to catch up with everyone post-Christmas.

“We always receive invaluable feedback on our new products and ranges which is really important to us for planning the year ahead. We have been exhibiting at Toy Fair for over 20 years now and it’s still as popular as ever.”

For companies looking to exhibit in 2020 there is still time to apply by completing an application form online at
