The board game and puzzle publisher, USAopoly has finally got its hands on the Star Wars license, thanks to a nw partnership with Disney Consumer Products that will see the company launch a raft of themed games into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The initial Star Wars line-up from USAopoly, the team behind the hit titles Telestrations and Blank Slate, will feature a light strategy tabletop game.
USAopoly has partnered with Disney on a number of products over the last 15 years, including Codenames: Disney Family Edition, Munchkin: Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Edition and Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: A Gemstone Mining Game.
This new agreement not only grants USAopoly the Star Wars license for the first time, but also the international distribution rights to some of the most popular titles from its current portfolio of over 70 Disney-licensed products. It also spans select unannounced upcoming games.
