High street toy retailer, The Entertainer has detailed its spring retail campaign for 2019, partnering with Animaccord for an exclusive Masha and the Bear initiative. The partnership kicked off this week, and will run until late April.
Throughout the campaign, The Entertainer will bring branded Masha and the Bear display stands and security gate covers into its more than 150 stores across the UK. Branding will feature the show’s popular characters and will run alongside meet and greet events.
“Masha and the Bear and The Entertainer have had a close and fruitful collaboration since the range first launched in 2016 and this latest campaign marks the forth in a string of successful campaigns,” said Mayur Pattni, UK marketing manager, Siso Toys UK.
“In September 2018, sales of Masha and the Bear toys doubled at The Entertainer stores as a result of our Autumn Winter in-store activation and we’re excited to replicate this success with this latest campaign.”
Rebecca Naish, head of marketing and licensing at The Entertainer, added: “Masha and the Bear is a well-loved property with some great content that children enjoy. Animaccord has been a great partner over the last couple of years and we are excited to be working together to bring Masha and the Bear to life in-store and online again this Easter.”
The show is currently proving to be a big hit in the UK on Sony Pictures Television Networks’ pre-school channel, Tiny Pop. It debuted on Tiny Pop in December 2017 and is now a top-rating show, with viewing figures growing steadily.
This April, Masha will air in the following slots: Weekdays 8.15am, 1pm, 4.45pm. Every day 3.15pm, 7.15pm. Weekends 10am, 11.45am. Masha and the Bear Show is also being shown on Cartoonito, covering Pay TV segment and available on Netflix.
