Zimpli Kids partnership will be ‘a stand out addition’ for Emoji brand this year

Who would have thought that a Poop shaped bath bomb that turns your bath water brown could be so popular?

The minds at Emoji and Zimpli Kids struck on something rather unique when they formed a partnership to launch an emoji themed range of Baff Bombz at this year’s London Toy Fair, where the range took centre stage to the delight of show visitors and retailers.

Slime and bath product specialist, Zimpli Kids has told Licensing.biz that reception to the partnership – one brokered by Emoji’s UK licensing agency, Bravado – has seen the range that includes the popular Poop Baff Bombz, become a resounding early success, with plenty of potential for its wide distribution when product launches to retail.

Alex Mitchell, senior licensing and partnership manager at Bravado UK, told Licensing.biz: “This partnership between Emoji and Zimpli Kids is one of the best, in what is a fantastic programme with Emoji already.

“Zimpli Kids is not just an expert in creating fantastic product but excels in marketing on YouTube and other very relevant sources. Emoji baff time product will be one of the stand out products of 2019 and we look forward to seeing the product in a wide distribution network. The product matches the fun, colourful and vibrant nature of Emoji and for the first time ever, parents will be happy with a poo in the bath.”

Bought to life by the unique ‘display and play’ element of the Emoji collaboration, this four-piece range gives kids an engaging experience to remember.

“Not only does it look great on shelf, but the one of a kind ‘play pods’ packaging adds a ton of fun and can be used time and time again,” added Jessica Coy, head of marketing at Zimpli Kids.

The range also includes Emoji Gelli Play Pods and Emoji Gelli Baff Pods plus Emoji Slime Play foil bags all retailing at just £1.
