Schleich’s Red Rabbit campaign returns as company promises year marketing support for retail partners

Schleich UK has detailed its latest retail initiative with the launch of its Red Rabbit campaign landing in retail displays across the UK and Ireland.

It’s the first of what Schleich has said will be ‘many initiatives it is delivering to retailers this year,’ echoing the ‘major uplift in marketing support’ the company is offering its retail partners this year.

The Easter campaign launched on March 18th and will now run for four weeks with all retailers receiving a red rabbit figure to hide among its Schleich displays in store.

The aim is to challenge customers to find and photograph the rd rabbit figurine as part of a social media picture competition. Prizes worth a total of £1,000 are up for grabs for 20 winners with the funniest or most inventive photo.

Customers will also be able to hunt down huge red bunnies too, as in addition to the hundreds of small rabbit figures being distributed across the UK, ten major store partners will also be displaying a giant version as part of its Easter Schleich display.

The campaign will be supported across Schleich’s own social media platforms, through blogging activity and in-store posters and displays.

Paul Dearlove, trade marketing manager, commented: “The Easter Red Rabbit campaign was piloted in 2018 and was a great success, so we are delighted to bring this fun activity to the UK audience on a much grander scale.

"This is just the first of many initiatives we have across retail this year which will echo the major uplift in marketing support we are giving our customers in 2019.”
