Green Owl Toys marks ten year milestone with Demelza Hospice donation

Green Owl Toys has celebrated its milestone ten year anniversary by donating a solid wood rocking motorbike to a local hospice in Eltham.

Children at Demelza Hospice were delighted to receive the 11kg rocking toy, donated by Izabela Hailey of Green Own Toys, marking both the 10th anniversary of the toy firm, and the hospice itself.

Demelza Hospice is marking ten years with a programme of events running through the week. The hospice has been decorated, a timeline installed and celebrations, including a children’s party and cake cutting will take place.

Amy Thomas, community fundraiser at Demelza Hospice Care for Children, said: “A huge thank you to Izabela and Green Owl Toys for donating this beautiful rocking motorbike, the children will have great fun making use of this fantastic toy.”

Green Owl Toys’ Hailey, added: “We are delighted to celebrate this anniversary together with such a well-loved children’s organisation, Demelza.

“We hope that this is a start to something special where we can support and enrich more children’s lives together in the future.”
