Moose Toys scoops Action Figure of the Year award for Treasure X Aliens at Australian Toy Awards

Moose Toys has scooped the coveted Action Figure of the Year award for Treasure X Aliens at the 2019 Australian Toy Awards in Melbourne.

The new Treasure X Aliens is the latest evolution in its Treasure X brand, which launched to market in 2018 and has since picked up a global following.

Launching in June this year, Treasure X Aliens is ‘set to be the hottest toy of the season and adds an out of this world element to the play pattern.’ This is the second award win for the brand that also took home the Parents Magazine’s award for the best unboxing experience at New York Toy Fair in February.

“We are excited and honoured to be walking away from this year’s Australian Toy Awards with a Toy of the Year win in the action figure category – a brand new category for us,” said Eva Daly, global PR and partnerships manager at Moose Toys.

“It is a real testament to the team who has worked hard diversifying our portfolio, and we just know that fans all over the world are going to love this toy.”

Treasure X Aliens sees kids use the included too to dissect the alien and save the Treasure Hunter within. A bag of ooze is included in every alien stomach as well as a tweezer tool to help pull out the alien stomach contents.

There are 18 treasure hunters to collect and swap, as well as the chance to find a real gem in each pack. These gems are known as peridot, some of which have been found in meteorites.
