Coiledspring begins search for Kingdomino World Champion at 2019 UK Games Expo

Coiledspring Games is in search of a new worthy champion to take the throne as it prepares to run its own Kingdomino Championship a this year’s UK Games Expo.

Ahead of the World Championships hosted by Blue Orange in France next year, Coiledspring is seeking a UK representative to do battle on the world stage with its championship event at the tabletop games show in May.

Each winner from across the Blue orange partner countries will be invited to the world championship, where they will get €200 worth of games for taking part, and the chance to win €3000 cash.

And yes, flights, accommodation and expenses will be covered – in true Kingly style.

“We have decided to host our UK Championships at UK Games Expo this year, where we believe we will see the most traction and excitement for the game in one place,” read a statement from Coiledspring.

Coiledspring has even subsidised the entry cost, making it just £5 to enter. The firm is also encouraging all of its partner retailers to get into the spirit of the tournament and prepare players for the showdown at this year’s UKGE with mini tournaments in the run up to the big weekend.

The Championship will be played with Age of Giants, to allow for five player games.

“And we have got prizes for everyone who takes part,” said the company.

Winner of the Game of the Year 2017 award, Kingdomino puts a majestic spin n the popular classic game of dominos. The championships will take place on the Sunday of UK Games Expo 2019 and is open to players aged eight and upwards.
