Zuru’s popular toy line Zuru Rainbocorns is building out a licensing portfolio all of its own, having signed with the licensing expert Ashley Holman’s new venture Riverside Brands.
Rainbocorns has already proved to be a global hit at retail and is currently supported by an animated webisode series on YouTube. It is backed by an international marketing campaign with a scope to launch into a number of new consumer products categories.
The programme will be headed up by the licensing industry favourite and former Nickelodeon consumer products executive, Ashley Holman who launches hit new venture, Riverside Brands with the announcement of the Zuru deal.
Riverside Brands aims to offer a dynamic approach to bringing brands to the UK and EMEA marketplace via three divisions covering licensing, distribution and media.
Holman said: “After over a decade working with some of the best brands in the world, with some of the best people in the industry, the time was right for me to use this experience to set up a flexible agency which aims to provide a host of bespoke solutions for those looking to take their brands and products to market in the UK and beyond.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to kick-start the agency with Zuru Rainbocorns and will be announcing a number of exciting partnerships shortly as well as looking forward to welcoming many more to the Riverside Brands collections as we grow.”
Zuru Rainbocorns combines key trends in toys such as surprise boxing, unicorns and sequins all in a plush pet.
“There is wide scope to extend the brand into complimentary categories at retail, playing on its core strengths with a fashion forward style, it will be a sure hit for girls all over EMEA,” said Holman.
