Spin Master release two new collectable ranges into the wild with mermaid and pet vibes

Spin Master has launched two new collectable lines for this spring/summer in the shape of Hatchimals CollEGGtibles season five and the new Lollipets.

Season five of the popular franchise arrives under the Mermal Magic banner, which includes new sea shell eggs, more character detailing and a variety of water transformations.

The range, that delivers its wares in one pack, two pack and four pack as well as six pack Seashell cartons, alongside a raft of play-sets including Flower Shower and Water Slide, were revealed to London Toy Fair visitors by the YouTube personalities Ro and Ra.

The pair donned life-sized mermaid tails for a photo shoot to celebrate the release of the new line, as well as making pet friends with the new Lollipets.

Ranjit Dhutti, senior brand manager, Spin Master UK, said: “Hatchimals has such a huge fan base and we are really excited for what is in store in 2019.

"The CollEGGtibles Season 5 theme of Mermal Magic is absolutely on trend right now and the new look and style of the eggs is nothing that fans have ever seen before”.

Lollipets move by children showing them their favourite treat. They can speed them up, slow them down, or guide them with the brightly coloured candy accessory included as they hug, chase, skip, scamper, and explore.

Lollipets come in a one pack at £7.99 and a two pack at £14.99 for fans to collect.

“Lollipets is a completely new concept combining collectability with interactivity which we hope will be a winning formula," continues Dhutti.

"Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at Spin Master and this certainly comes across in the new launches for spring this year, watch this space for autumn.”

Both of the new lines will be heavily supported by TV advertising, in store activations and an extensive marketing and PR campaign to drive awareness and build buzz at launch.
