Spielwarenmesse ToyAwards finalists revealed

Spielwarenmesse has revealed the 15 finalists of this year’s coveted ToyAwards as it prepares to welcome guests to the 70th anniversary edition of the show.

This year sees the introduction of a new raft of categories with ToyAwards presented in the StartUp category and four age-specific categories Baby and Infant, Pre-School, SchoolKids and Teenager and Adults.

This year, 433 exhibitors entered a total of 838 innovations. The products that made it through the preliminary round were sent to Spielwaremesse for further evaluation. A jury then considered the remaining entries at a meeting to select three exceptional innovations.

The nominees for this year’s ToyAwards are:

Qbitoy – Qbi Globe

The winners of this year’s toyAwards will be announced on January 29th during the Opening Ceremony marking the beginning of the 70th Spielwarenmesse.
