Bigjigs Toys has been named distribution partner for the Lottie Dolls brand across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy with immediate effect.
The announcement has been made by Lottie Dolls’ managing director, Ian Harkin.
“Our business has been built on the belief that representation in the toy-box matters,” said Harkin. “We are a values-led business and so the social and environmental credentials of all our partner organisations matter to us.
“From the very earliest stage in our discussions, we sensed an excellent fit between Bigjigs Toys’ ethos and our own. Having built up our presence in each of these markets we are now handing over the reins to Bigjigs Toys who has come highly recommended and has a much greater infrastructure and distribution network.
“Bigjigs Toys’ offering complements our current customer base and we are excited about the operational efficiencies and extended reach that our new partners provide.”
Since its launch at the bottom of the garden in a shed back in 1985, Bigjigs Toys has grown to become one of the leading traditional toy suppliers in the UK and Ireland.
A family run business at its core, Bigjigs toys now design, manufacture and distribute a range of complementary brands that are firm favourites in toy boxes across the world.
“Having young children, I have been aware of the Lottie range for some years,” said Sam Ireland from Bigjigs Toys.
“Lottie has become a firm favourite in our toy box and now we have a fantastic opportunity to work with Ian and the team to continue the growth of the brand across our broad network of retail partners in 2019 and beyond.”
