CBeebies and The Point. 1888 to showcase Tinpo at London Toy Fair

CBeebies and its newly appointed licensing agency The Point. 1888 will be heading to London Toy Fair next week to talk toy partnerships for the popular pre-school series, Tinpo.

Revealed today, The Point. 1888 is now representing the CGI animated series produced by Cloudco Entertainment as it looks to build out its licensing roster.

Toys, publishing, home, arts and crafts, puzzles and games are among the consumer product sectors that The Point. 1888 will be looking to secure partners across. The first products are expected to land from AW this year.

Launched in December via a prime slot on CBeebies, Tinpo is already proving popular with its pre-school audience in the UK. Combining themes of construction and unconventional problem-solving, the main character Tinpo and his team solve problems in their unique world in ways that are never practical but always fun.

Meanwhile, The Point. 1888 has been making waves in the industry, flying the flag for the next generation of brand licensing. The team will be working with Tinpo owner Cloudco Entertainment to secure a number of long-term sustainable licensee partnerships across a spectrum of licensees and retailers.

It is hoped the programme will drive greater awareness for the brand as it enters its first full year on the CBeebies channel.

Bethan Garton, retail and brand director, The Point. 1888, said: “As a mum, I am only too familiar with the brilliantly fun and educational content on CBeebies.

“To be able to work with Tinpo which has already made such a big impression on the channels’ viewers is incredibly exciting and we can’t wait to show the impact a brand licensing programme will have.”
