Orchard Toys strikes Double Gold at the 2019 Mother&Baby Awards

Orchard Toys has been awarded Double Gold in the 2019 Mother&Baby Awards for ‘Best Toddler Toy’.

One Dog, Ten Frogs and Look and Find Number jigsaw both scooped first place in the category after judges found it impossible to choose between the two Orchard Toys products.

Emma Bailey, editor of Mother&Baby, commented: “Congratulations to Orchard Toys on winning two gold awards. Our testers thought both products were equally amazing, and just couldn’t choose between them – so we had no choice but to award a double gold.

"Our mums loved that they were fun and held their toddlers’ attention, and encouraged manual dexterity and collaborative play as well as stimulating those growing brains. Everyone – youngsters included – really enjoyed testing these fab products, so the double win is well deserved.”

Now in its 25th year, the Mother&Baby awards celebrate the best products and brands on the market. Winners are selected by a large panel of parent and child testers.

Orchard Toys’ marketing manager, Ali Brown, added: “We are absolutely delighted to win this unique double gold accolade. Both the products launched earlier this year and it’s great to see that they have been so well received and loved by parents and children.”

One Dog Ten Frogs is a giant floor activity, counting and memory game, with super-sized discs for even more fun and play value.

The discs feature a variety of friendly characters to count and pair, helping children learn to count up to 15 with the help of the handy reference board. Once completed, players can work together to make a number line with the jumbo circular cards.

Look and Find Number includes two number activity jigsaws in one box. One jigsaw shows numbers from 1-10 and the other a fun summer scene.

After piecing together both the puzzles, children can use them together by matching the items shown on both to aid counting from 1-10, with a chunky piece for each number.

This activity also helps to develop matching, discussion and observational skills, with collaboration between parent/adult and child. Great value, great fun.
