Zimpli Kids moves 95% of manufacturing to UK to meet growing delivery demand

Zimpli Kids has reduced the number of its products manufactured in China, having increased its own capabilities over the past 12 months.

As a result more than 95 per cent of the company’s product portfolio is now manufactured in the UK. The move was made in order to make and supply its most in demand items in quicker time.

The company can now manufacture and deliver bespoke orders in a little as a week.

This September, Zimpli Kids moved to a ‘considerably larger premises’ which allowed it to increase its own manufacturing capability "massively".

"Zimpli Kids has put substantial investment into new infrastructure and machinery which will enable them to UK manufacture upwards of 95 per cent of all products sold moving forward," read a statement from the company.

The only products we now make in China are Slime Blasters and Inflatables that are included in the Gelli Worlds and Gelli Spa products.
