Swiss fashion doll that promotes inclusivity and diversity lands at Hamleys and Harrods

A new range of fashion dolls highlighting inclusivity and diversity have just hit two of the UK’s biggest most iconic toy retailers.

The Swiss fashion doll brand I’m A Girly has launched at Hamleys and Harrods in time for the Christmas season but boasting natural proportions, varying skin tones and the message of inclusion and creative play for children.

The collection was created for an age group beyond the reach of baby dolls, instead aiming at four to 16 year olds. Each I’m A Girly dolls can have personalised hair colour and length, as well as changeable wardrobe and accessories.

The brand was founded by the Swiss entrepreneur Theresia Le Battistini and is committed to empowering children and inspire them to express creativity and imagination.

Children can customise the doll outfits and hairstyles with A/W and S/S collections released each season and over 150 accessories available.

Le Battistini, said: “When I had my daughter, i realised that there was not much variety in the doll market for an offering that reflects the latest trends with a contemporary twist. This is when I decided to bring to life my vision of I’m a Girly, and bridge the gap between childhood and adolescence, with the aim to empower young girls and inspire children to express their creative and individual ideas and expand their imagination.”

I’m a Girly Fashion-dolls are currently available to buy in Harrods and Hamleys and online throughout Europe.
