UGears dives into tabletop gaming with Kickstarter exclusive mechanical accessories range

The sustainable wooden toy company, UGears is diving into the world of tabletop gaming with the Kickstarter launch of a new range of board gaming mechanical accessories.

The Ukrainian toy company took to the crowdfunding platform earlier this month to launch its Kickstarter exclusive collection of models designed to bring new levels of excitement to a players’ tabletop board game, through intricately designed mechanisms.

The range features card holders, a modular dice tower, a deck box, a Game Master’s Screen and a secret model. The card holder accommodates up to 500 game cards in 16 compartments with spacers, while the Modular Dice Tower can be used as a traditional dice tower.

The Game Master’s Screen is folded together. It resembles a large book but opens out to reveal four separate panels that can be used as a screen.

“The new models will become your indispensable assistants in all sorts of board games. No matter what type of board game you prefer these days – the variety of available smart wooden gadgets will have something to offer you,” read a statement from the firm.

The project has already secured 380 per cent of its original Kickstarter goal of £15,000. At Almost £60,000 in pledges, the UGears board game range has a month remaining on the site.
