HTI prepares for ‘tremendous growth’ in the US with new VP of North American sales

HTI has appointed Bruce Canner as vice president of sales, North America, joining the firm as it prepares for further expansion across the US.

Canner brings extensive experience in the toy industry to the role and his appointment follows a six year period serving as vice president of sales for Toy State. His career spans over 40 years in the sector with names like Mattel, Fisher Price and Tyco on the CV.

Working with the international team, Canner’s new role will focus on driving the sales overseas in the USA, a key emerging market for HTI during its time “of tremendous growth and innovation.”

John Hutt, HTI principle, said: “We are currently on a roll with senior level hires. Bruce has a wealth of experience which we’re excited to tap into along with plenty of great industry contacts in the US.

“We are honoured to have him on board. We look forward to him leading the team and our US operations, helping the business to fully reach its potential in America.”

HTI’s brands include EVO and Teamsterz as well as an extensive licensing portfolio of some of the biggest children’s brands including LOL, Peppa Pig, PAW Patrol, PJ Masks and My Little Pony.
