Eco-Excellence Award win for BioBuddi will ‘fuel eco-friendly toy brand’s US growth’

BioBuddi has been awarded the Eco-Excellence Award, an accolade recognised as the highest rated prize for environmentally friendly toys, in the category Nursery Toys.

The Dutch toy brand was handed the award for its dedication to eco-friendly toys with a patented raw material that can prove its contribution to a significant CO2 reduction when compared to others.

“We are incredibly honoured to be recognised by winning this award,” said Steven van Bommel, CEO of BioBuddi. “The organisation has tested many sustainable products before nominating us for the final, which was a great honour, but we are overwhelmed with winning the prize.

“We are doing everything we can to develop environmentally friendly and responsible toys in the best possible way. A prize like this will give us a big boost in the American market.”

BioBuddi toys are currently sold in 14 countries worldwide. The American toy market is still a small part of the company’s total turnover. However, following the award win and a number of other planned promotional activities, BioBuddi expects to see a substantial growth in turnover in the market.
