Playmobil is moving into gaming, VR and more animated content with INK Group

The Brandstaetter Group and Ink Group are creating an extensive portfolio of content for the popular Playmobil toy brand.

Based on the joint vision of high value entertainment that meets today’s demand for multi-format content, the new partnership will see the development of episodic animation, as well as gaming and VR experiences.

“We look forward to collaborating with the INK Group – a well-versed specialist in digital entertainment – and to the development of a new, creative facet to the Playmobil brand experience,” read a statement from the management board of the Brandsaetter Group.

“It’s great honour that the quality-first approach and the premium storytelling INK lives by are being recognised by such an iconic toymaking leader,” said claus Tomming, managing partner of INK Group.

“With the highest respect for Playmobil and its fans, who deserve nothing but the very best, we are dedicating all of our trademark unconventional creativity to bring the story behind those 7.5cm fellows to screens and homes across the world.”
