Discovery secures Mini Beat Power Rockers master toy partner in ToyPlus

Discovery has secured a new partnership with the Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer ToyPlus for a toy line inspired by the hit series, Mini Beat Power Rockers.

An original production airing on Discovery Kids in Latin America, Mini Beat Power Rockers is a musical animated adventure following a group of babies who spend their daycare hours making music and dreaming of becoming a hit rock band.

ToyPlus’ collection is the first product line inspired by the series.

Launching at retail this month, the Mini Beat Power Rockers line will include an assortment of play-sets, action figures and plush. The action figures and plush will feature the baby bandmates, Myo, Carlos, Fuz, and Wat, singing the series’ most popular tunes to help kids learn about different musical elements, such as rhythm and melody, and various musical genres and instruments.

Kids will also be able to play with a Rainbow Daycare play-set, modelled after the setting in which the characters spend most of their time and the babies’ iconic strollers, acting as the ideal companion for all their adventures.

“Mini Beats Power Rockers has quickly become a fan favourite in Latin America and we are excited to give kids new ways to interact and learn about music with their favourite baby rock stars”, said Miguel Trigo, Director of Licensing, Discovery.

“Mini Beat Power Rockers is one of the leading shows on Discovery Kids and our digital platforms. The audience response is what inspired us to move forward with this agreement, which will allow all kids to play and have fun with their favourite characters”, said Carolina Lightcap, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer, DLA/USH.

Mini Beat Power Rockers will return to Discovery Kids in Latin America for season two during the last quarter of 2018.

It narrates the adventures of FUZ, WAT, MYO and CARLOS; a group of baby best friends who dream of being the best band of all time. Every day, while their parents are at work, they have fun at their daycare, doing what they love best – playing music.

The Mini Beat Power Rockers toy line will be available at major retailers across Latin America in October 2018.
