Barbie makes a big entrance at Smyths Toys as Mattel celebrates Dreamhouse launch

Mattel and Smyths Toys Superstores have teamed up to bring a touch of Barbie theatre to the retailer’s Staples Corner store front.

Barbie’s Dream House has arrived at Smyths Toys Superstore and to celebrate the retailer’s Staples Corner store front has been transformed. The full range of Barbie products are available across all Smyths Toys Superstores.

Sinead Byrne, joint head of marketing at Smyths Toys Superstores, commented: “We are excited to be working with Mattel to bring the Barbie’s Dreamhouse alive at our Staples Corner store! Barbie is here to stay and the amazing dreamhouse is just one of many great products in the range at Smyths Toys for Barbie fans this Christmas."

Julie Jackson, senior brand manager, Barbie UK Mattel, commented “We are thrilled to work with Smyths to show the supersized Barbies DreamHouse in such an impactful way. The Staples Corner store front is the perfect canvas to show the ground floor of the Barbie DreamHouse and as the toy is standing over four foot tall there’s limitless ways to bring imaginative play to life this Christmas.”

The campaign also includes Barbie’s Dreamhouse featured as one of Smyths Top Toys for Christmas, a revamp of the landing page on the Smyths Toys website, Facebook and YouTube campaign and week-long sponsorship of Barbie’s Dreamhouse on POP.

Smyths Toys Superstores now trade from over 114 stores across the UK and Ireland. Catering for all ages, the leading toy retailer’s stores are bursting with a huge range of toys, video games, bikes and baby products, including all the top brands.
