Hasbro and Disney launch Marvel Rising action doll line

Hasbro is expanding its current partnership with Disney and Marvel to launch its new action doll range, Marvel Rising, a new collection of toys inspired by the Marvel Universe.

The new line looks to take inspiration from Hasbro and Disney’s launch of Star Wars Forces of Destiny action dolls in previous years, presenting a range of 11-inch scale dolls and role play gear to complement the animated franchise.

Marvel Rising is an animated spin-off of the central Marvel theme. Marvel Rising: Initiation shorts are currently available on Disney XD and marvel HQ on YouTube, while the feature-length film Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors will premiere on Disney Channel and DIsney XD on September 30th.

Back in 2016, Disney and Hasbro broke the mould in the doll category with the introduction of the action-doll concept via the Star Wars canon. The range brought the action of the sci-fi franchise to the scale doll market with a focus on Forces of Destiny storylines, following the female leads in the Star Wars saga.

The line features Doreen Green aka Squirrel Girl, Patriot and more.
