Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood celebrates board game launch

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood joined the professional dancer and Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two star, Ian Waite for the press launch of Strictly Come Dancing: The Board Game last week.

The event saw guests treated to a group dance lesson, which focused on steps from the Cha Cha Cha, as well as the chance to try out the new game.

The launch arrived ahead of the premier of the the new series of Strictly Come Dancing which hit screens on Saturday, September 8th as the game aims to capture the fun of the BBC show.

It pairs players with an in-game professional dancer as they journey through training where they must answer trivia questions, take on fun challenges and perform mini dance-offs. The two players who make it to the game’s live final can perform a dance to one of the six tunes that are played on the revolving glitterball speaker, or they take on the finger Cha Cha challenge.

“I think Strictly Come Dancing: The Board Game will be fab-u-lous enjoyment for all,” said Revel Horwood. “It means everyone can join in some Strictly Come Dancing inspired fun which gets a ten from me, darling.”
